FREE WORKSHEETS AND PCB MASTERS FOR TEACHERS

The following is a worksheet which I used with KS3 and KS4 classes. This can be selected and printed and is copyright free if you want to use it. (hover over worksheet and click right button and select print, or copy if you want to paste into WORD for example to allow resizing to suit your needs)

A useful hint for making PCB masters.

Modern laser printers can be too hot for making PCB masters on acetate sheet, so I tried good quality tracing paper, which worked very well. You need to experiment a bit to get exposure times right, but once sorted it's plain sailing.

Beneath it is a transparency master for producing 8 PCBs. This should be copied to a suitable program to enable you to resize it to give 150mm long PCB boards and print it onto acetate transparency for use in a UV light box.

If you like this work sheet and can use it let me know and I will post more soon. I have several suitable electronic projects. I would welcome any comments. e-mail me at [email protected] .

HERE'S ANOTHER ONE.

The circuit below was used with KS3 pupils. It was developed from the usual textbook version to overcome the following problems:-

1. False triggering due to static charge on pupils.

2. Dropout as battery loses power.
